- 2008 Equator Prize Initiative Winner .
- Support 15 Beekeeping Community based organization on Beekeeping, Mariculture, Organic farming, neem processing.
- Support 15 Mariculture Community based organization.
- 15 Schools supported on Organic Farming
- Kwetu pioneered small scale mariculture in Kenya in collaboration with Kenya Marine Fisheries and Research Institute and Prof. David Liti of Moi University.
- Supported 7 community based organization on small scale mariculture initiatives on their community sites;
- 200,000 mangrove seedlings planted.
- 10 youth friendly resource centers established to sensitize and promote HIV prevention and positive behavioral change.
- Establishment of 40 youth groups.
- Engagement of 700 youths in youth groups
- 26,778 counselled, tested and received their results on HIV and Aids
- 130 youth leaders empowered on good governance, citizen participation and leadership skills.
- 250 farmers trained on beekeeping technologies.
- 100 neem farmers trained on neem processing business initiatives.
